April Kick-Off
April is always a big month around here. In addition to birthday and anniversay, we've added volunteering for the Ashland Independent Film Festival.
We welcomed April with a temperate evening stroll for First Friday. It was a festive troop and we paused for cocktails and nibbles. The beverages outweighed the noshes, making First Saturday a bit of a challenge.
Sunday brought the kind of blue sky that makes you ache, and once at the mountain, we knew the day was destined to be a late-season treat.
I cannot decide if I am amused by the whimsical nature of this sign found on First Friday, or acutely irritated by its arbitrary woo woo-ness. This is Ashland, I can be both. I'm sure its author will chronicle the responses in a soon to be award-winning documentary.
